We were finally able to overcome some technical difficulties to get access to the first of the pictures from Mr. Gao's camera, with more on the way. In the next couple of hours I will be posting some pictures from Mr. Gao's camera (which will be out of chronological order), then pictures from the Beijing leg of our trip in order to catch up with the posting. Sorry I'm so far behind (we're in Xi'an; we flew here from Beijing yesterday), but reliable internet access is rare.
This is a picture from Gao's camera of our group's Politburo Standing Committee. Like the actual PSC, everyone on our Committee has a role to play. From left to right: Gao Yuan (figurehead dictator), Andrea Bailey (does all the actual work), Brad Nicholson (propaganda) and Peter Kraft (puppetmaster behind the scenes). :-)
